The Story Behind FlirtifyCam

Flirtify Cam or FlirtifyCam? Same site.

You'll see our name written both ways: Flirtify Cam with a space, and FlirtifyCam as one word. They're the same thing: the flirty video chat at flirtifycam.net. We're an independent company and not part of, or affiliated with, any other brand that has a similar name.

There's also no separate FlirtifyCam app in the app stores. The site runs in your browser and can be added to your home screen. If you see an app using our name, it isn't us.

How FlirtifyCam differs from a dating app

Dating apps start with profiles and end with a conversation, if you're lucky. FlirtifyCam starts with the conversation. You don't write a bio, choose your six best photos or wait for anyone to swipe right. You meet a person live, and if the chemistry is there, you both know within a minute or two.

What a typical evening on FlirtifyCam looks like

Most of our traffic arrives after dinner and peaks late at night, when people are home, relaxed and a bit bored. Some open a cam to cam chat straight away. Others start with text and work up to video. A few come with a specific goal, like a live girl video call before bed, and leave after one good conversation.

The calls themselves are usually short. A few minutes of banter, a laugh, a Next, another hello. Every so often one runs for an hour, and those are the ones people email us about. We like getting those emails.

Who's behind it

FlirtifyCam is run by a small team of product people, engineers and moderators who have worked on social and video apps for years. Moderators review reports every day, and the people answering support emails are the same people who fix the bugs you tell us about.

We publish what we learn from real calls on the FlirtifyCam blog, from honest comparisons of other sites to the conversation starters that work best on camera.

We're deliberately small. It means the people who read your feedback are the same people who decide what to build next, and the moderators reviewing reports know the rules because they helped write them.

We'd rather you have one great five-minute call than spend an hour swiping.
